“He who chases two rabbits catches none” – Confucius
With a dream, imagination and taking action you will soon be on your way to achieving any goal that you set in life.
Keep Moving Forward and Only look Back to See How Far you have Come.
I have found that the key to being happy is that happiness happens when your living in the moment.
Running is very similar to life, it take some daily effort but once you get moving and keep moving things start to go well and feel pretty good. Although sometimes if you realize it or not or not there may be obstacles along the road of life, some are big and some are small like the little sharp rocks that get in my shoe. The question is how am I going going to deal with the rocks? The way I deal with the rocks in my shoes is I get them out and keep on moving. I know it takes a little extra time to stop, and I know it slows me down a bit, but I am in this race for the long run! Have a fantastic week.
I like happy people. Do you know how you can tell if people are happy? Listen to what they talk about. Did you ever notice that happy people talk about ideas? Happy people are idea people.
I read a quote somewhere once that said
Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
Here are a couple tips on living outside of your comfort zone
Listen to new ideas. Make friends with people who thinks differently from you and learn more about them and how they think.
Learn something new, google a topic that your interested in or watch a you tube video on something that you don’t know how to do.
Find a role model who overcame adversity and is doing what you want to do.
Trust yourself and believe in yourself. Everything depends on what you believe.
Day dream and don’t let anyone steal your dream The way to get what you want is to dream, put a date on those dreams and work to achieve them.
Today is the day to start shaking up your old routines.
Its not going to be simple or easy but when you get there its going to be awesome!
There are seven days in the week and someday isn’t one of them.
You don’t have to be great to get started, but you do have to get started to be great.
Thinking too long about doing something is often the reason it never gets done.
Do not wait until the conditions are perfect to begin. Beginning makes the conditions perfect.

Today we are going to be talking about perseverance I think it was Confucius that once said….
“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.
The definition in the dictionary of perseverance is:
The quality that allows someone to continue trying to do something even though it is difficult.
I like watching the beachfront vacation home shows on television. Watching those shows get me inspired because the families know how to dream and they dream BIG! They are not afraid to take a step out of their comfort zone and move from where they are now to their dream destination.
Your Great Life Today. Cleaning out the clutter to make room for an awesome 2015 .
Hi, and welcome to the Your Great Life Today podcast. In this episode you will get to know a little about me and how I got introduced into the world of podcasting. I also discuss how some of the great motivation and inspiration that I have listened to over the years has helped me to make big changes in my life.
When I was a kid, no one ever told me that you could only run in shoes for 300 miles. I bet I wore my first running shoes for three years. I am not sure how many miles I ran in those shoes, but I know it was way way more than 300 miles maybe like 3,000
Shoes sure seem like they lasted longer when your are only 115 lbs. Yup, when I was in 8th grade and just started out running I was somewhere around 115 pounds, no wonder it felt like I was flying in the air when I ran.
I remember my first trip to the new running store in our local mall. I was in in 8th grade and it was early September. A kid in the neighborhood that I went to school with was into running and he was intent on turning me into a runner too, I don’t think he really cared about me becoming a runner so much as he did just having someone who looked like a runner to drag along. He always seemed pretty knowledgeable about running and especially about running shoes, looking back he probably did because there were only like 6 shoes choose form.
My first pair of shoes were Nike waffle Trainers, I remember them vividly they were blue with the yellow swoosh. When I think of that pair of shoes I get very nostalgic and get the urged to to go on e bay and buy a pair. I always wonder if people go on to eBay looking for things from there childhood, I do it all the time.
One thing that was great about running in the late 70s as a kid was there was no pressure to be fashionable when it came to running clothing. Your choice was grey sweat shirt and grey sweatpants or a grey sweatshirt and grey sweatpants. I think it was all about the whole Rocky look.
One day this coming spring I am going to take a trip back to my hometown and run those same streets that I did as a kid. I may not have the waffle trainers but I will take with me what I still have left from my early days of running my high energy and enthusiasm for running.
Have an awesome Day!
